Key Experience:

John is responsible for security management which involves security installations, audits, crime and loss prevention, investigations, staff training on security and general coordination of security staff (both internal and external).John has previously worked for Kenya Prisons Service for 8 years and attained the rank of superintendent of prisons. He worked in Machakos and Kamiti Maximum Prisons and was Officer in-charge of Narok prison.

After leaving prisons, he then worked for Thomas de la Rue as a security supervisor for three years after which, he joined Uchumi as a Security Officer in 1996 and rose through the ranks to Security Services Manager. He then left Uchumi briefly for SDV Transami where he worked as a Security Manager for 2 years after which he then joined Uchumi again in 2008.
